Ce jeu données expose les informations liées aux lauréats du concours i-PhD depuis sa première édition.

Le concours i-PhD, lancé par le gouvernement en partenariat avec Bpifrance, est né de la volonté du ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de l'Innovation d'encourager l'esprit d'entreprendre des doctorants et jeunes docteurs. Ce concours, qui se situe en amont du concours i-Lab, est réservé à de jeunes docteurs ou doctorants qui souhaitent créer ou co-créer une start-up Deeptech via un transfert de technologie valorisant des résultats de recherche.

Objectif du concours i-PhD : accompagner des jeunes docteurs, soutenus par un laboratoire public de recherche et accompagnés par une Structure de Transfert de Technologie, dans le but de valoriser un projet pouvant conduire à la création d'une start-up Deeptech.

Le projet EpoC a pour objectif de mettre sur le marché une thérapie métabolique , nouvelle approche thérapeutique pour le traitement du glioblastome, cancer du cerveau le plus fréquent et au taux de survie de seulement 3% à 5 ans.
Le marché des produits thérapeutiques ciblés pour les tumeurs cérébrales était estimé à 261,2 millions de dollars en 2017 et devrait atteindre un taux de croissance annuel moyen de 17,0% soit 652,8 millions de dollars en 2023. La startup dont l’objectif est d’exploiter son brevet pourra établir des partenariats avec les différents types d’acteurs de ce secteur : association de patients et de médecins, cancéropôles, instituts de recherche sur le cancer, big pharmas.
